Third-party manufacturing for cardiovascular ranges — Omega-3 fish oil, CoQ10 and supporting actives, mostly in soft gels. From 3,000 units per SKU, with peroxide and anisidine testing on every oil batch.
EPA and DHA concentrates in soft gels, at the concentration your label claims rather than the one the raw material happens to arrive at. Oxidation tested on every batch.
Coenzyme Q10, grape seed extract and related antioxidants, in soft gels or capsules depending on whether the active is oil- or water-soluble.
Garlic, arjuna and other traditional cardiovascular botanicals, supplied as standardised extracts with the marker compound assayed.
Most manufacturers make you email before they will tell you their minimum. Here is ours, so you can judge fit before you spend a call on it.
| Formulation | MOQ per SKU |
|---|---|
| Existing formulation | 3,000 units |
| New / custom formulation | 10,000 units |
An existing formulation is one already in our range or a standard formula we can produce without development work. A new formulation needs development and validation, so the run has to cover it. Packaging print runs carry their own minimums and are confirmed separately. Unit pricing depends on actives, pack and batch size, so we quote it in writing at the feasibility stage rather than publishing a figure we would have to caveat into uselessness. See the full MOQ table for every dosage form.
| Omega-3 concentration | Standard 30% (180 EPA / 120 DHA) through to high-concentrate 60–85% — the concentration drives both cost and capsule size |
|---|---|
| Oil form | Triglyceride or ethyl ester. Triglyceride costs more and is better absorbed; the label should say which it is |
| Antioxidants | Coenzyme Q10, grape seed extract, vitamin E — vitamin E also protects the oil itself from oxidising |
| Botanicals | Garlic, arjuna, hawthorn, as standardised extracts |
| Dosage forms | Soft gels for anything oil-based, tablets or capsules for dry actives |
Rancid fish oil smells and tastes wrong, but by then it has already reached the customer. These are the tests that catch it first, and both of the oxidation ones belong on the Certificate of Analysis.
| Test | What it confirms |
|---|---|
| Peroxide value | Primary oxidation. The first test any buyer should ask for on an oil product |
| Anisidine value | Secondary oxidation. Peroxide value alone can read low on an oil that is already past its primary stage, which is exactly when it is most misleading |
| EPA / DHA assay | The actual concentration against label claim — the number most often overstated in this category |
| Fill weight & leak test | Each capsule holds its intended volume and the seam holds in transit |
| Heavy metals | Lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury. Mandatory diligence for any marine oil, and the reason the oil source matters |
| Microbial limits | Per pharmacopoeia and FSSAI contaminant limits |
3,000 capsules per SKU for an existing formulation and 10,000 for a new one. Soft gels typically carry higher minimums than other forms across the Indian market, so this is worth comparing directly against other quotes you hold.
Ask for peroxide value and anisidine value on the batch Certificate of Analysis, and treat a supplier who offers only one of them as a supplier who has not looked. Peroxide value can read acceptably on an oil well past its primary oxidation stage. We report both on every batch.
Ethyl ester is cheaper and is what most inexpensive products use. Triglyceride form is closer to natural fish oil and is better absorbed, at a higher cost. Either is legitimate — what is not legitimate is failing to say which one is in the pack, and buyers in this category increasingly check.
A standard 30% oil (180 mg EPA / 120 mg DHA per 1000 mg) is the mass-market default. High-concentrate 60–85% oils deliver the same EPA and DHA in a smaller or less frequent dose, which matters for compliance but costs considerably more per kilogram. Decide by whether your positioning is value or efficacy, because the two lead to different products.
Omega-3 is a category where the difference between a good and a bad manufacturer is invisible on the pack and obvious in the lab. This is our own product, tested the way we would test yours.
