Third-party manufacturing for immunity ranges — vitamin C with zinc, amla and botanical extracts, in tablets, chewables and capsules. From 3,000 units per SKU, with assay of every declared active on the batch COA.
The backbone of the category. Plain or chewable, with amla as a natural vitamin C source where the brand positioning calls for it — our own Vitakyn tablet is built this way.
Curcumin with black pepper, giloy, tulsi, ashwagandha and elderberry. Standardised extracts with the marker compound assayed, not crude powders sold on their name.
Flavoured chewable tablets for paediatric immunity ranges, where swallowing a tablet is the obstacle and taste decides whether the pack gets finished.
Most manufacturers make you email before they will tell you their minimum. Here is ours, so you can judge fit before you spend a call on it.
| Formulation | MOQ per SKU |
|---|---|
| Existing formulation | 3,000 units |
| New / custom formulation | 10,000 units |
An existing formulation is one already in our range or a standard formula we can produce without development work. A new formulation needs development and validation, so the run has to cover it. Packaging print runs carry their own minimums and are confirmed separately. Unit pricing depends on actives, pack and batch size, so we quote it in writing at the feasibility stage rather than publishing a figure we would have to caveat into uselessness. See the full MOQ table for every dosage form.
| Vitamin C | Ascorbic acid, sodium ascorbate, or amla extract as a natural source — the choice affects both taste and the claim you can make |
|---|---|
| Zinc | Zinc gluconate, sulphate or bisglycinate; the salt drives tolerability and aftertaste |
| Standardised extracts | Curcumin (95% curcuminoids), giloy, tulsi, ashwagandha, elderberry — supplied against a marker assay |
| Absorption enhancers | Piperine with curcumin, which is the difference between a curcumin product that works and one that passes through |
| Dosage forms | Tablets, chewable tablets, capsules, effervescent granules and sachets |
Immunity is the category where unsupportable claims are most common, and it is also the category Indian regulators watch most closely. We assay what the label declares and review the wording before artwork is printed.
| Requirement | What it means for your product |
|---|---|
| Assay of every declared active | Vitamin C and zinc content against label claim — the test that proves the pack is not just a vitamin C tablet with a botanical name on it |
| Marker-compound assay for extracts | Curcuminoid content for curcumin, and the equivalent marker for each botanical. A crude powder and a standardised extract are not interchangeable |
| % RDA per ICMR-NIN 2020 | Indian RDA figures on the label, not imported ones |
| Disease claims | "Boosts immunity" wording is reviewed against FSSAI rules; a supplement cannot claim to prevent infection |
| Microbial limits | Total counts and absence of pathogens, per pharmacopoeia and FSSAI |
| Heavy metals | Lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury — the standing risk with any botanical extract |
3,000 units per SKU for an existing formulation and 10,000 for a new one. Immunity ranges are usually seasonal, so a low minimum matters more here than in most categories — it lets you test a SKU in one season without committing to inventory you carry into the next.
Yes. Paediatric chewables need a flavour and sweetener system developed alongside the actives, because zinc in particular carries a metallic aftertaste that will stop a child finishing the pack. We profile taste at the pilot stage and you approve samples first.
A standardised extract is assayed to a stated marker content — 95% curcuminoids, for example. A crude powder is the botanical, ground. The extract costs several times more and is the only one of the two whose active content you can state honestly on a label. If your pack names a percentage, you need the extract.
Carefully, and not in those words in every context. Indian rules do not permit a food supplement to claim it treats, cures or prevents disease, and "prevents infection" crosses that line. Structure-function wording tied to the nutrients' established roles is defensible. We review artwork before printing and will tell you when a claim is not.
These are our own immunity products, on sale now and released with a Certificate of Analysis for every batch — so the capability is demonstrable rather than described.
