Our MOQ, Published

Most manufacturers make you email before they will tell you their minimum. Here is ours, so you can judge fit before you spend a call on it.

Minimum order quantity per SKU for Tablets & Chewables
FormulationMOQ per SKU
Existing formulation3,000 units
New / custom formulation10,000 units

An existing formulation is one already in our range or a standard formula we can produce without development work. A new formulation needs development and validation, so the run has to cover it. Packaging print runs carry their own minimums and are confirmed separately. Unit pricing depends on actives, pack and batch size, so we quote it in writing at the feasibility stage rather than publishing a figure we would have to caveat into uselessness. Tablets & Chewables — Common Questions

What is your MOQ for tablet manufacturing?

3,000 tablets per SKU for an existing formulation, and 10,000 for a new formulation that needs development and validation. That is below the common Indian market floor of 5,000–10,000 units for a stock formula. Packaging print runs carry their own minimums and are confirmed separately.

Can you make chewable tablets?

Yes. Chewables need a sweetener and flavour system developed alongside the actives, because taste is the whole point of the dosage form. We profile taste, odour and mouthfeel at the pilot stage and you approve samples before commercial production.

Do you handle the coating as well?

Yes — aqueous film coating, sugar coating and enteric coating are done in house, so one facility is accountable for the whole tablet rather than coordinating a coating subcontractor.

How long does a tablet project take?

8–14 weeks from signed brief to dispatch for an existing formulation, covering quotation, specification sign-off, artwork compliance review, procurement, manufacturing and QC release. Add 8–12 weeks if a new formula needs accelerated stability data before a shelf life can be assigned.
