By design. A general daily multivitamin is taken by men and post-menopausal women as well as younger women, and high daily iron is not appropriate for everyone. Women with diagnosed iron-deficiency anaemia need a dedicated iron product on a doctor's advice rather than a multivitamin.
Grape seed extract is a concentrated source of oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs), a group of polyphenols studied for their antioxidant activity. At 70 mg per tablet it complements the vitamin C, vitamin E, zinc and selenium already in the formula.
